It’s halfway through March, so let’s look at the climate so far this month.  The temperature across the Southeast is much above normal, which is no surprise if you have been basking in the unusually warm temperatures this week.  The area that is most above normal is the northern part of the region and extending beyond that into the Midwest and Northeast.  Due to the high pressure parked over us contributing to the warm temperatures, we are also well below normal in precipitation, since the high has kept the rain blocked to our west.
