The first of two cold fronts will pass through the Southeast on Wednesday, bringing a few showers to the area.  A second cold front is expected to come through on Friday, bringing even colder temperatures this weekend.  Temperatures below freezing are predicted for large portions of northern Georgia on Saturday and Sunday mornings, with high temperatures on Saturday reaching only the upper 40s to mid-50s.  If you have tender plants outside, you will need to bring them in or protect them from frost damage.  Some of the more extreme models even suggest that seeing a few snow flurries in eastern Tennessee and northern AL and GA is possible.
