The Southeast Regional Climate Center posted a note on Facebook today saying that they had received many inquiries this month about the number of rainy days in September.  They posted a couple of maps which show the number of days with precipitation of at least 0.01 inches and the ranking of the count for each station based on the period of record for that station.  In Georgia, Augusta and Savannah look like the winners, with 14 and 15 days respectively.  That puts both of them in the top ten for number of days in September (to date) with measurable precipitation.  You can make your own maps at https://www.sercc.com/perspectivesmap
