Bloomberg (as reprinted in AgWeb) wrote an article this week discussing the changes that California growers have made in response to the continuing severe drought in the state and the lack of water for some crops.  You can read the article here.  In the article the author discusses changes such as crop switching, high-tech irrigation systems and reusing wastewater.  As climate changes over time, farmers will continue to innovate by using new technologies and management methods to get the best returns for their investments.
