Finally got some rain and overcast skies throughout the county. with roughly 1.8 inches at the office from the weekend to now. There are chances of scattered thunderstorms tomorrow, but skies are forecasted to clear up this weekend and into next week with temperatures rising.

Thank you to pewee and Davis Farms for cooperating with Extension. It was a long night.

Arnie, DynaGrow 913, FloRun-52, Georgia-06G, Georgia-21GR, Georgia 22-MPR, Georgia-23RKN, TIFNV-HG
Peanut Update:
Peanuts are out of the ground and moving. I’m pretty sure we have finished up peanut planting, though there may be a few more acres going in the ground this week.

Notice the tips of the leaves. Yellow nutsedge has a very thin, pointed tip
Purple nutsedge has a more rounded tip
