The UGA forage team has a great website that can be used a tool for variety selection, forage management, and pest management. the website is below.

To locate information on different forage species, look on the side bar on the left hand side and click adapted species. Information on warm season, cool season, annual and perennial forages can be found at this website.

Alfalfa in the South

Also, on the bottom of the main page is a list of upcoming events. Please be aware that there are some near us next month. The one that is getting a lot of attention is the Alfalfa in the South workshop hosted by the UGA forage team. Out of four locations two will be close to us: May 9th, Tifton Georgia and May 10th, Irwin County.
