Variety Observations (2025)

  • Arnie: Disease similar to 06G, but TSWV resistance similar to GA12Y
  • FloRun-52N: TSWV, yield, and grade are similar to 06G
  • GA-06G: Standard for grade and yield, but disease and TSWV are concerns.
  • GA-09B: Early maturing, but disease and TSWV are concerns.
  • GA-12Y: Later maturing, excessive vine growth (need PGR on irrigated). TSWV resistance and good peg strength. Rhizoc limb rot and low grades are concerns.
  • GA-18RU: Similar to 06G in yield and grade, but weak on leafspot and TSWV.
  • GA-16HO: Similar to 06G in yield and grade, but leafspot and peg strength are concerns.
  • GA-20VHO: Similar to 06G in yield and grade, but peg strength is a concern.
  • GA-22MPR: Later maturing, nematode resistant, and has TSWV resistance. Peg strength was a concern in 25
  • GA-23RKN: TSWV similar to 06G, good yield potential so far.
  • GA-24NHO: TSWV similar to 06G, good yield potential so far.
  • TifNV-HG: Large seed size, nematode resistant, yield similar to 06G
  • TiftNV-High O/L: Lower yield compared to TiftNV-HG, inconsistent, nematode resistant.
