Here are some options for controlling weeds in small grains. Call me with any questions.
- Oats: Harmony Extra + MCPA or 2,4-D. This will give you excellent control of broadleafs. The MCPA will give you a short residual on wild radish, about 10 days. Be sure to get it out before Christmas
- Wheat:
- Broadleaf: Harmony Extra or Quelex + MCPA or 2-4D
- Ryegrass: Axial Bold, Zidua, Prowl, or Osprey. Do Not mix any ryegrass herbicides with 2,4-D, MCPA, Quelex, or Nitrogen, antagonism will occur!
- Broadleaf and Ryegrass: Axial Bold, followed by (wait 7 days) Harmony Extra or Quelex + MCPA
- Have it out before Christmas
