The weekly updates my soon be put on hold for the next few months. About everything but vegetables is slowing down. I’ve talked to several of you that have finished up and have finally found some time to hit the deer woods. We are currently working on getting the production meetings set up. I am waiting to hear back from two of our specialist and then I will get the schedules out to everyone. The Farmer of the Year appreciation banquet is coming up on December 2nd. Invitations have been sent out and some of you may already have received it. I encourage you to come, while we honor the Farmer of the Year, this is a celebration and appreciation of everyone’s hard work throughout the year. Remember that agriculture is Tift County’s largest industry. Also, Gays Seafood is catering so you don’t want to miss that.
