Getting your Trinity Audio player ready…

I want to say a big “thank you” and shout out to Amanda Huber, editor of The Peanut Grower, for her editor’s note in the most recent issue of their magazine.

It always warms my heart when someone in the agricultural world has the courage and heart to talk about the stresses farmers experience.

This month’s Editor’s Note is title Someone Is Ready to Listen and it acknowledges the challenges growers are facing and the amazing hard work they are investing in their crops. Most importantly, it reminds growers that through Extension and other sources there are people who care and want to listen to and support producers. As she says at the end of her note “There is a whole network of people who understand the plight of the farmer and want to help you stay the most valuable asset on your farm.”

Amen
