This annual sale offers a wide variety of fruit trees, shade trees, shrubs, and landscape plants, all available by pre-order only. Orders and payment must be received by Monday, January 12, 2026, and plants will be ready for pick-up on February 27th at Tattnall County High School.
This year’s sale features a strong lineup of fruit-bearing plants, including Celeste figs; pear varieties such as Ayers, Keiffer, and Orient; peaches like Belle of Georgia and Elberta; plums including Methley and Baron Gold; and muscadines such as Carlos, Cowart, Jumbo, and Frye. Berry lovers will also find thornless blackberries—Arapaho, Navaho, Ouachita, and Osage—as well as blueberry varieties Premier, Brightwell, Austin, Tift Blue, and Powder Blue.
For landscaping and shade, shoppers can choose from large trees such as American persimmon, Chinese chestnut, weeping willow, and several oak varieties including sawtooth, Shumard, Nuttall, and overcup. Discounted wildlife packages are also available for those interested in improving habitat.
A wide variety of flowering shrubs and ornamentals are offered, including azaleas, magnolias, hydrangeas, loropetalum, gardenias, butterfly bushes, hibiscus, tea olive, juniper, forsythia, and evergreen screening plants such as Green Giant and Murray cypress.
Order forms may be downloaded online at www.tattnall4h.org or picked up at the Tattnall County Extension Office, located at 114 N. Main Street in Reidsville. Payment must accompany all orders and may be made by cash or check payable to Tattnall County Extension/4-H.
Proceeds from the sale support Tattnall County 4-H, helping fund educational programs, equipment, scholarships, and youth leadership opportunities. This includes support of popular programs such as Project Achievement (DPA), Judging Teams, Archery, Community Service Events, Agriculture Awareness Events, Leadership Conferences, Summer Camp, and more. Shoppers may also list a local 4-H’er on their order form to help support that young person’s individual participation fees for an upcoming 4-H activity or event.
