1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained and rinsed well
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
3 Tablespoons milk
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Add all ingredients into a food processor and process until completely smooth. Add a little more milk if necessary to create a smooth consistency.
- Taste and adjust sweetness by adding a little more brown sugar if needed, particularly if using no-sugar added peanut butter.
Notes
- Serve with graham crackers, carrot sticks, celery sticks, or apple slices.
- This recipe yields the best results when a high-powered food processor is used. If you’re using a lower power food processor, you may need to add additional milk or water and your consistency may not be completely smooth.
