Fertilization significantly impacts your annual yields in hayfields as the previous year’s hay harvest has likely depleted the soil. A 6-ton per acre hay harvest will remove around 300 lbs Nitrogen, 250 lbs Potash, and 80 lbs Phosphate in a season. Oglethorpe 4-H had a great day at “The Sort” livestock judging contest hosted at Partisover Ranch. Wyatt Bridges was 5th Overall high individual junior, and 5th overall in cattle. Mandatory trainings for row crop farmers using Engenia, XtendiMax, and Tavium technologies have begun across Georgia.
