The UGA Extension Oglethorpe County Office hosted its highly anticipated annual water day on May 22. It was nothing short of a splash-tastic success! It was the perfect kickoff event for summer for enthusiastic 4-Hers. They raced each other down the waterslide countless times. Even Mr. Marcus joined in on the fun, although rumor has it he didn’t win a single race! Our 4-Hers are the competitive best of the best. Aside from the exhilarating waterslide races, the day was filled with volleyball and soaking in some Vitamin D. The kids mentioned they are anticipating the upcoming Jr. Camp at Jekyll Island, another highlight of their summer. We’re thrilled to see our 4-H youth engaged and having fun. Here’s to a summer of learning, laughter, and plenty of splashes!
