As we enter a new year, we are pleased to continue to offer our Georgia 4-H Zoom into Science sessions, allowing 4-H youth to engage in real-world science experiences in a virtual setting.  To date, 15 scientists from 7 states have hosted a session, and over 1,000 young people have participated in the live webinar (with many families watching the recordings).  It’s time for 2021!

Just a few reminders:

  • Please promote widely – schools, education groups, other youth-serving organizations, etc.  Participation is not limited to 4-H members or youth in the state of Georgia.
  • Families register through a secure site and then receive a link to the Zoom webinar.  No additional work is required of the County Extension office … all you have to do is share!
  • Previous sessions are recorded, captioned, and posted on the Georgia 4-H Zoom into Science Kaltura Channel: https://kaltura.uga.edu/channel/Georgia%2B4-H%2BZoom%2Binto%2BScience/172382871.
  • Have an idea for a great guest scientist?  Let me know!

Should you have any questions, please let me know.  Thanks again for promoting the Georgia 4-H Zoom into Science series.

Happy Science!
