Engage with partners from across the state to learn about the Adopt-A-Wetland program.

Learn about the importance of wetlands, local projects to improve water quality in Hinesville, and how to become a coastal steward in our free Adopt-A-Wetland training. Activities include a presentation on water quality and sampling techniques, a short certification quiz, and a demonstration at the nearby lake. After completing the training, attendees will be certified Adopt-A-Wetland volunteers and can collect data to submit to the Georgia Adopt-A-Stream online database maintained by the GA Environmental Protection Division.

Please bring a pen or pencil, water, and snack, and dress appropriately for the weather. We will be spending some time outside during our demonstration.

This is a face-to-face training located at 438 W Oglethorpe Hwy, Hinesville, GA 31313Bryant Commons Park
