I hope you are well and beginning to feel a little more normalcy in your daily routines. I understand many folks are starting to return or have already returned to your office.
As always, we are here to support staff in leading 4-H programs on base and supporting sound youth development practices. We know you all have been creative over the past few months and are continuing great work.
In our upcoming Quarterly 4-H Military Partnership Meeting let’s plan to share our success’, things we have learned, and what other tools you need. I will create a formal agenda closer to date, so if there any concerns or items you want to be covered send them to laurwalt@uga.edu. To find the best time for the majority I have created a doodle poll and ask that you fill it out by June 29th. I will follow up with Zoom meeting instructions.

Additionally Air Force partners, either before or after the meeting please send me your on-base 4-H contacts since October. I will need this information for the upcoming mid-year report, which is due on July 10th. If you have pictures from 4-H meetings and/or programs, please share as well. I am happy to accept files from AMRDEC, Google Drive, email attachment, or any other sharing site. For the contact numbers you can send as an excel sheet, scanned copies of sign-in sheets, or whatever method works best for your base. When able please include the type of activity participants participated in and their ages.
I do want to go ahead and note that GA 4-H has updated our virtual programming webpage to be more user friendly and the offerings are being updated weekly. Several activities are open to the statewide audience and we welcome you all to share those resources or use when appropriate.
