Are you looking to add an additional training for your teens this summer or for the upcoming school breaks? Consider adding the 4-H Babysitting Training into your plans.

Currently, you can offer the training either in-person or as a virtual training for teens. The Curriculum is available online for download and I, Laura Goss, have adapted a PPT for your use for the online training sessions. Contact me at laurwalt@uga.edu for the PPT and other tools. Sam Price, 4-H County Agent, created a timeline for the virtual sessions. Both are great resources that will assist with the planning and implementation of the program.

Good news! There is an update coming for this curriculum this Fall. We anticipate the new version to come out in August or September just in time for school breaks. We will send an update with the resources and are happy to assist as needed for implementing the program. We understand this training is very timely as many families are relying on teen babysitters for the summer, COVID-19, PCS moves, and the like.
