Dr. Courtney Still Brown presented to the 4-H Staff in March the variety of Healthy Living Resources available through 4-H and our partners. I was impressed by the variety of programming available and loved that lessons/curriculums are ready to use for educators.
The AFI requires that the Air Force focus at least one club on healthy living. Making this a very relevant resource as we work through the 2020 4-H Military Partnership grant cycle; however, the resources shared are beneficial for all educators and military branches.
– Showcases several resources available to 4-H and partners

I will continue to showcase Healthy Living curriculum throughout the year along with other resources through this blog. As team we can create sound programming for military youth. If you come across resources please share them with laurwalt@uga.edu. Also, let us know if you have any questions or need assistance planning a healthy living 4-H club.
Did you know that Georgia 4-H has a smoothie bike? Reach out to your county staff about using the smoothie bike in your upcoming 4-H program! It is a hit with all ages.
