We’re back with our Thoughtful Thursday continuing education series for GA MGEVs! During our monthly webinar (usually the second Thursday from 2-2:30 pm), UGA specialists share updates on a variety of horticulture topics with MGEVs. We use Zoom for these sessions so MGEVs, trainees, Extension agents and staff can join in wherever they are in the state. MGEVs, we hope you are able to join in for this year’s Thoughtful Thursday sessions. If you can’t attend the live sessions, be sure to catch the recordings through your MGLOG profile. This series is designed just for MGEVs and supports you in meeting the annual 10 hour continuing education requirement.

In February, Pam Knox, Director of the UGA Weather Network and Agricultural Climatologist, returns to the series share about expectations for this year’s weather patterns. Check your email a few days before the session for the Zoom link, or access from your MGLOG homepage. We appreciate Pam joining us at the beginning of the year to give us additional insight on Georgia weather as we plan for the year.
Next up, a new guest speaker, Linda May, Wildlife Conservation Outreach Coordinator with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, will kick off March and spring weather with a discussion on Gardening for Birds. We look forward to seeing you all online as we continue this series! I will leave you with a few wonderful bird photos, courtesy of Linda.
