I’m excited to share a new statewide Extension initiative called Let’s Grow Georgia — a program designed to inspire, educate, and celebrate gardening across our state. As part of this program, we’re partnering with the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Office of Marketing & Communications, to produce an annual garden calendar that will be available for purchase through the UGA Extension online store and, we hope, at local retail garden centers across Georgia.
We are currently seeking photo submissions from gardeners, agents, and volunteers for inclusion in the calendar. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the beauty and diversity of Georgia gardens — from native plant landscapes to thriving vegetable beds and vibrant pollinator patches.
