Join us for part two of this year’s Regional Leadership Conference series as we learn how to develop and deliver a strong Extension message that engages the community around plants and gardening. Our first session, Communicate to Connect, was offered in June. You can read more about it here.

  • June 19, 2020 – Communicate to Connect, 10 am – 12 pm
  • August 21, 2020 – Communicate to Cultivate, 10 am – 12 pm
  • November 6, 2020 – Communicate for Community, 10 am – 12 pm

August: Communicate to Cultivate

In part 2 of the series, we will explore how we can use communication to cultivate knowledge of plants and gardening among those new to the subject. We’ll also take a look at how to effectively create content for different media platforms.

During our time together (10 am – 12 pm), we’ll discuss our communication topic. Representatives of the Georgia Master Gardener Association (GMGA) will briefly join in the conversation, as well. RLCs are FREE, but registration is required. Register here.

In the spirit of staying well and minimizing travel, we will continue to meet via Zoom for RLC #2. While this is a different format than we envisioned when we planned the series, we feel it is an opportunity to safely come together and discuss timely topics. Participants in RLC #1 had great discussion in the chat box, effectively asking questions and sharing ideas with others.
