Resources for GA MGEVs

Last year marked the 40th anniversary of the Georgia Master Gardener Extension Volunteer Program, certainly a momentous occasion to celebrate! We wrapped up all that celebration with a special edition, extended-format Annual Program Report for 2019. This 20-page report captures Georgia MGEVs in action as they volunteer thousands of hours in support of UGA Extension’s consumer horticulture activities, events, and projects.

We can tell you with words that Georgia MGEVs volunteered 179,788 hours last year, but we feel that is just not enough. Your projects show how MGEVs put into action Extension’s research-based information in each of our five state initiative areas. Your pictures share how impactful MGEV efforts can be in our communities. Your service awards suggest how committed MGEVs are to the program. We are so proud of all that you do in your communities to share Extension’s countless resources so that others may experience plants and tend them in ways that protect our natural resources and the environment!

We hope that you will enjoy the report as much as we do! You can view it on the Georgia MGEV Program website. Visit our webpage (gamastergardener.org), choose “Our Impact” on the left-hand navigation bar, then scroll down to “Our Reports.” You will see both report versions at the top of the bulleted list.

Congratulations on a great year!
