4-H Day at the Atlanta History Center is July 27 and Fulton County 4-H has an exciting day planned. Gordon County 4-H will NOT be going as a group or providing transportation, but you/your family are welcome to attend at the 4-H discounted rate of $7 per person.

Activities for the day include:   

  • Smith Farm Tours
  • Beekeeping demonstrations
  • Mobile Dairy
  • Q&A with the Agriculture Agents
  • Barbershop Theater
  • Swan House
  • Goizueta Gardens
  • Cyclorama Exhibit
  • The Untold Story of Stone Mountain

4-H’ers are also invited to apply to give their demonstration in the exhibition hall.  4-H’ers who exhibit livestock are invited to come with their families and share their expertise. This is great for portfolio work.  Link to apply to exhibit is here: https://forms.gle/tKTMiYQ7SwQa5M9QA.

District officers are invited to come help as needed for the day (their ticket will be covered).

We will start registration at 9:00-9:45 AM.  Most activities will end at 3:00 but you can stay until 4:00 when the facility closes.  Lunch is on your own with options being Souper Jenny’s or pack your own. https://www.souperjennyatl.com/buckhead  There will be a location for 4-H’ers to leave their stuff and a cooler if you bring one.  Please do not bring anything of value and leave it.
