On behalf of the One Georgia Urban/Rural Agricultural Experience Planning Team, we wanted to share that we will be offering the One Georgia program once again in 2024! One Georgia is an agricultural education experience that exposes youth to the diversity of agriculture in our state. From rural, to suburban, to urban areas, agriculture may look different around the state however they all play a major role in Georgia’s largest economic sector. The One Georgia Program is a two session overnight experience for 4-H’ers in 9th-11th grade. This summer, sessions will be held on the following dates:
- June 5-7, 2024 – Tifton Area
- July 8-10, 2024 – Metro Atlanta
Students must be able to attend both sessions in their entirety. The cost of the experience is $150 and the rest is covered by grant and donor funds. Applications are now available and the deadline to apply is March 1st. Please see the application link below and the attached application worksheet to allow 4-H’ers to preview the application questions.
