Calling all 6th graders!

New this year, we are taking 6th graders to State 4-H Cloverleaf Project Achievement at Rock Eagle 4-H Center. The competition is on Saturday, November 5, but you can choose to go down on Friday, November 4 and spend the night if you prefer.
As a participant, the student will receive:
- Free competition registration and trip to Rock Eagle 4-H Center
- All basic project materials provided at no cost
- Individual project assistance from a 4-H staff member by appointment
- Recognition at annual 4-H awards banquet in July
We will provide transportation to and from the competition, and guests are welcome to attend the competition on Saturday to watch the student’s presentation. We also help each student with creating their presentation, so you are not on your own in completing the project.
If your child is interested in participating in the 4-H Project Achievement competition, please complete the registration form at this link: https://ugeorgia.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_doMQSvaTwtCub78 by FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21.
What is Project Achievement?
Project Achievement is a five minute individual presentation on a topic of the student’s choice, with over 50+ project categories that can also include performing arts, food preparation, sewing, and public speaking. You can learn more with this video overview: https://www.loom.com/share/f0784e29a1054721943cac98e3c97609 (ignore the dates and county competition piece, the video is old but the substance of Project Achievement is the same).
