The Georgia Association of County Agricultural Agents officers along with Senior district directors showcased Georgia grown products to the Association County Commissioners

of Georgia at their annual conference in Savannah on April 26 and 27.   GACAA enjoyed a few days on the Savannah River.  ANR agent Joel Burnsed, from Monroe County, coordinated the Farmhouse activities by securing the products and coordinating with the convention center staff.

GACAA members helped with the set up of the Farmhouse display and served the food each day. UGA Extension administration had an adjoining display and spoke to our commissioners one on one about the work we are all doing in our respective counties.

The Farmhouse at the ACCG conference is an excellent opportunity to promote UGA Extension and the good agricultural work we are all doing in the state.  All of the food featured each day was from Georgia farms.  Many thanks to all of the farms for letting us serve their products.
