The University of Georgia Extension and University of Florida Extension Services are partnering with local RC&D Councils and Soil and Water Conservation Districts to host the new GA/FL Irrigation EXPO on June 10, 2026, at the UGA Vidalia Onion and Vegetable Research Center in Lyons, Georgia.
This new biannual agricultural expo is designed to bring together growers, irrigation professionals, researchers, industry representatives, and Extension personnel from Georgia and Florida to highlight the latest advancements in irrigation technology and water management practices. The program will feature educational sessions, demonstrations, and hands-on outdoor stations where participants will have the opportunity to learn directly from irrigation experts about new technologies and management tools used in row crops, orchards, turfgrass, horticulture, and other agricultural systems.
In addition to the educational sessions, there will also be an irrigation trade show where participants can meet with vendors and representatives from a variety of irrigation and agricultural companies before and after the educational programs. The trade show will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn about new products, equipment, technology, and services available for irrigation management and water conservation.
The event will be held at the UGA Vidalia Onion and Vegetable Research Center, located at 8163 GA Highway 178, Lyons, GA 30436.
Organizers encourage attendees to pre-register to help ensure an accurate lunch count. The first 200 pre-registered attendees to enter the gates will receive a free GA/FL Irrigation EXPO hat while supplies last.
