Find a Health Extension for Diabetes Program

Interested in joining UGA’s Health Extension for Diabetes (HED) program?
UGA Extension offers HED throughout the state of Georgia, in both online and in-person formats. Programs are opened for registration periodically throughout the year based on cohort availability. UGA HED program is a 4-month long program that involves eight educational sessions, intermittent support groups, and connecting participants to local resources.

We have six Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agents trained as HED facilitators who are offering in-person HED programming in 2025.
