31 lifestyle coaches trained to deliver DPP, including two Master Trainers
Over 1 million activity minutes logged
41 cohorts to date, approximately 500 individual participants
Over $350,000 saved
Over 500,000 contact hours with participants
1,987 in-person programs + 919 distance learning programs = 2,897 lbs lost across both delivery modes!
Research shows that a structured lifestyle intervention can cut the risk of type 2 diabetes in half! Let’s get started.
National Partnership
Congress authorized CDC to establish the National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) — a public-private partnership working to build a nationwide delivery system for a lifestyle change program proven to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes in adults with prediabetes. It brings together many different groups, including health care organizations, community organizations, private insurers, faith-based organizations, employers, and more.
