Welcome to UGA Extension Nutrition and Health Insights, our new digital landing page for all things health and nutrition. This blog is maintained by University of Georgia Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) Extension faculty and staff with support from dietetic interns and graduate students in the Department of Nutritional Sciences. While the site is new, we are no strangers to providing the people of the state of Georgia with up to date and evidence based nutrition information through chronic disease prevention and management programs, events, and publications.

In this new blog, you can expect to find regular updates on new developments in nutrition and health as well as content to support sustainable health and nutrition behavior change. We will highlight the work of our FACS Extension agents providing services throughout the state. We’ll also share nutritious recipes and information about upcoming programs.

Looking for past content? Our long-running print and digital newsletter, Diabetes Life Lines, is archived on the UGA Family and Consumer Sciences website.
