Begun in 2024, our Experiential Learning Garden serves as a living classroom where participants can engage in every stage of the growing process—from composting and seed starting to harvesting and food preparation. This multi-phase project is designed to create a permanent outdoor classroom and demonstration garden serving residents of all ages and abilities. The goal of the Walton County Experiential Learning Garden is to provide an inclusive, hands-on educational environment where residents can learn about horticulture, nutrition, environmental stewardship, pollinator conservation, and sustainable food production.
