Last week at the Using Pesticides Wisely training, Dr. Culpepper mentioned that information about paraquat training will be out this week.
If you need paraquat training, then there are several webinar and in-person opportunities soon. Dr. Bart Clewis, Syngenta’s Senior Stewardship Manager, will be presenting six free webinars over the next three weeks. The dates and times of these webinars are listed below.

There are two attendance options:
- Individuals can register for one or more of the Zoom sessions (they only have to attend one). Only one registrant will receive credit.
- If you have numerous applicators and would like a group meeting, then the group meetings will be led by the county agent. The agents will validate the attendance by completing the attendance roster.
There is a simple 10-question quiz following the training.
- Individuals watching on their own will do the online quiz.
- Groups watching together will go through questions and reviews with Dr. Clewis online.
If you would like to attend a group session, the Colquitt County Extension will be hosting the webinar at the Colquitt County Extension office on the following dates:

For completion of the training, participants will receive 1 CEU for Private and Commercial applicators.
