The latest 7-day QPF map shows that a lot of the Southeast will be wet this week. The wettest area will be along the coasts of North and South Carolina, where amounts of up to 15 inches could occur. The rain will last most of the week in those areas. The map shows a strong band of wet conditions running from SE Alabama through most of southern Georgia and up the East Coast, with several inches expected. Florida should be relatively dry along with most of Alabama and northern Georgia. Not good news for farmers already dealing with wet conditions this year. The jury is still out on Week 2, but the prediction for weeks 3-4 show more chances of wet conditions.
