While we focus on the Southeast in this blog, I also like to share stories about climate and agriculture elsewhere in the world. This story from Yahoo News highlights the severe drought that is occurring in Turkey and how better use of irrigation could help alleviate some of the drought there. The reservoirs there are under 20 percent of capacity due to a 7-year drought in the area. You can read more here.
