After last Sunday’s storms, I’ve been asked what apps are best for receiving warnings about current severe weather. I am not a big cell phone user but have found this list to contain some good apps. Remember, the apps are only useful if the phone is on and the volume is up. Even so, at night it may be hard to hear if you are a deep sleeper so keep that in mind.
