If you think it has been warm just here in the Southeast, think again.  Many parts of the US are seeing record-setting warmth, including Oklahoma, which has measured temperatures as high as 99 F in the last week.  Yes, that’s 99 F!  In February.  Many climatologists have commented on this unnatural state of climate.  You can read the WunderBlog at https://www.wunderground.com/blog/JeffMasters/this-is-february-80f-in-denver-99-in-oklahoma-66-in-iceland- to read about records being set around the world and why they are happening.  Jason Samenow of the Washington Post also comments about the unseasonal warmth here and points out that forecasts for the next couple of weeks show more of the same coming our way.
