As a quilter, I am always interested in new and innovative ways that needleworkers are using their craft to address important issues in creative ways. This article from Slate.com describes how some artisans are incorporating trends like temperature series into their craftwork, for example by using different colored yarn to make scarves that change in beat in time with the yearly temperature.
