This week Grazing the Net newsletter pointed out an article in Newsweek about attempts to reduce methane emissions from cows by research scientists in Alberta and around the world. A variety of methods are being examined and show that reductions in this highly effective greenhouse gas can be made by changing feeds and adding supplements that improve the efficiency of digestion.
