This week, February 1st through 5th, is Severe Weather Preparedness Week for Georgia. We will highlight family preparedness, thunderstorm, lightning, and tornado safety, as well as flood preparedness. There will be a tornado warning drill on Wednesday, February 3 at approximately 9:00am for all 159 counties. This annual drill gives everyone the opportunity to test their tornado emergency procedures.
