The latest outlook for September 2023 was released today. It shows that September is leaning towards warmer than normal temperatures, a continuation of the long-term rising temperature trend. It is more likely to be hotter than normal in the center of the US, though, as another strong high sets up there. There is no signal in precipitation towards wetter or drier than normal conditions for September.
