The latest 7-day QPF forecast shows that most of the region should get at least an inch of rain this week. The lightest amounts are likely to be in northern Alabama and Georgia and upstate North and South Carolina. This pattern is expected to continue into week 2.  Weeks 3 and 4 at the moment look like they will be drier and warmer than normal across the region, although as we approach the peak of the Atlantic tropical season those outlooks could change. But so far, no storms are predicted to develop over the next five days.
