The latest 7-day QPF map shows that quite a bit of rain is expected over the next week across the region. It will start very wet and will taper off later in the week but some rain is expected almost every day. This pattern is likely to continue into the next week as well. Fortunately, the tropics are quiet or we might get even more rain. For more discussion about where to get hourly forecasts so you can plan field work based on when the rain is expected to occur, you can visit my blog post in the Viticulture blog at https://site.extension.uga.edu/viticulture/2024/07/showery-weather-for-the-next-two-weeks-end-of-july-through-early-august-2024/.
