The 7-day QPF map shows that showers will continue during the week but will be relatively light, with the least rain Tuesday through Thursday. By the end of the week, the models are hinting at some tropical development that could bring heavier rain to the Gulf and areas west of us. There is always a lot of uncertainty in these predicted storms, so make sure you keep watching for the latest updates. It is likely to be a bigger factor next week, so you have time before then.
