The latest 7-day QPF map shows that a lot of the region will not get much rain this week. A front will move through the region on Monday but rain amounts will be fairly light except in Alabama, which could see higher accumulations. A second area of light rain is expected on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning in southern Georgia but the rest of the week and region should not experience much if any rain. Drought is likely to increase in Florida because of the warm weather and lack of rain.
