I am in Austin TX for the eclipse on Monday, but I don’t expect to see much, since rain is expected to move in on Monday morning. But I am hopeful that we may get a break in the clouds. If nothing else, it will get really dark for a few minutes. That rain will be headed east to the Southeast by mid-week, bringing up to several inches of rain to western parts of the region. The rain should decrease later in the week as the storm system moves off to the east. Not very good news for those of you who are waiting to plant, I am sad to say. The eastern parts of the region and southern Florida should be the driest areas.
