With apologies to the readers who are not in the Southeast, another Matthew article.  This one is from the Capital Weather Gang and lists all of the records that Matthew has broken so far in its life or may be about to break in the next few days.    And today (Thursday the 6th) marks the 4000th day since the last time a major hurricane hit the US mainland, Wilma almost 11 years ago.  Dr. Marshall Shepherd noted that the last time a Cat3 or greater hurricane made landfall in the US, Twitter and iPhones didn’t exist.
