The latest 7-day QPF map shows that most areas of the region should receive less than a half-inch of rain. The heaviest rain is likely to fall in southern Florida which could improve drought conditions there. In the rest of the region, most of the rain will fall in the next couple of days with dry conditions after that until next weekend. Week 2 shows only a slight tendency to wetter than normal conditions but more rain is expected in weeks 3 and 4.
