The latest monthly and seasonal outlooks for the US were released today by NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center. They show that both July and the July through September period are expected to be warmer than normal this year. Precipitation is also leaning towards wetter than normal conditions, most likely due to the expected active tropical season, but it will likely be hit or miss with some areas receiving a lot and other areas getting bypassed.
