Even though you might have a lot of complaints about how hot the summer this year has been, there is at least one place in the United States that had had it worse.  The Weather Channel provided a list today of the five places that they think were the most unbearable this summer.  Number 2 is Chattanooga TN, which they listed as a proxy for the entire Southeast.  The only place worse:  southern Louisiana, where massive flooding caused tremendous damage and some loss of life.  You can read the full list at https://weather.com/news/news/worst-us-summer-weather-2016.
